Is it possible to pass the page number through the URL?

I'm trying to pass the page number through the URL in order to show the page of the table on page load.

For example:

http://example.com/home/?page=2

Is this possible with BootGrid? i notice BootGrid appends an anchor #2 to the URL but how can this trigger the correct page on page load.

Currently not, but it is planned to jump to a specific page by calling a URL. Unfortunately I cannot tell you when this feature will be available, cause I'm kind a busy at the moment.
