RStudio Edition : Desktop
RStudio Version : 2022.07.2 Build 576 (I also tried with the latest daily build and had the same issue)
OS Version : Ubuntu 22.04
R Version : 4.22
Steps to reproduce the problem
Install Zotero from snap using sudo snap install zotero-snap
Add some items to My Library in Zotero
Try to add a citation in the visual markdown editor using the instructions on this page
Describe the problem in detail
When I try to add a citation using the visual markdown editor, my local Zotero library does not appear in the left panel - this is all I see:
Describe the behavior you expected
My Zotero library should show up in the left panel in the screenshot above and I should be able to insert citations from the library into my document, as desribed in the documentation
I was able to resolve this for myself by uninstalling Zotero and reinstalling using zotero-deb, so it seems that this issue is caused by something specific to the snap version
