Based on best practices for the accessibility either remove the 'site-title' tag or update it.

The argument is that when we have title tag and h1 for a page, what purpose does h2.site-title serve?

  • Present any technical research for backing your decision.

Option 1: Remove

Argument: Since the primary page title is already represented by

, removing the

element eliminates potential confusion and redundancy.
Pros:
Simplifies the document structure, making it more accessible and SEO-friendly.
Avoids redundancy and potential confusion for screen reader users.
Cons:
Theme design and styling may need to be adjusted to accommodate this change.
Option 2: Update

Argument: If you have a specific design reason for including an

element with the class "site-title," you can update its content to provide additional context or information relevant to the site. For example, you could include a site slogan or descriptor.
Pros:
Maintains the design element if it's essential for branding or aesthetics.
Can provide additional context or information about the site.
Cons:
Still involves the potential for redundancy and confusion in the document structure.
Requires careful consideration to ensure that the additional content is meaningful and useful.
