File and Upload limits -

Is there no platinum plan? Why?

After recalculating user data where are the stats displayed?

What happens when you cick Screen options under Update plans?

How does Manage Plan Limits work? Is it PER USER or is it for all users? How do we invoke this option?

In the "File Size Limits Surpassed in Activity" section, wat does the screenshot represent? AS I understand, if any file exceeds the set file size limit, it is rejected.... irrespective of when it is uploaded. However, the sceen shot says try after 15 hrs... Confusing...

Same goes for File Size Limits Surpassed in Media Gallery and File Size Limits Surpassed in Forum Topic and Reply Attachments...

Is there no platinum plan? Why?

Site owner can add number of plans and also can change name of existing plans. There is no restriction for plan.

After recalculating user data where are the stats displayed?

We are showing Total User and Total Media. No other stats.

What happens when you cick Screen options under Update plans?

If you want hide/show Color, description and users then that screen option useful.

How does Manage Plan Limits work? Is it PER USER or is it for all users? How do we invoke this option?

Yes, from next release of this add-on user need to subscribe for pre-defined plan. Admin not able to change any limit for particular user.

However, the sceen shot says try after 15 hrs... Confusing...

Hours are calculate based on day start.
E.g. the day- 8th Dec start at 12:00 mid-night, so your plan time start. When you upload media at 6 pm evening and then exceeded limit. So you can upload after 6 hours, means 12:00 am mid-night on 9th Dec.

We are showing Total User and Total Media. No other stats.

@nitun question was WHERE we display stats? BuddyPress profile tabs/setting or some other page?

Thanks Rahul.
Nitun, I am not clear about the File Size Limit options...

The name as it implies is about File Size meaning if I try to upload a file that is 1.1 GB in size when the limit is set to 1 GB, it will be rejected.

Now where do hrs come in this?

We are not showing stats for each users. Only we are showing which plan user subscribed and what is the limit.

Also, the same is showing under users profile in WordPress dashboard (your-profile).

The exact calculation how much limit remaining for that user, will be added in next version. That can be displayed in profile page.

The name as it implies is about File Size meanng if I try to upload a file that is 1.1 GB in size when the limit is set to 1 GB, it will be rejected. Now where do hrs come in this?

Yes, you are correct. That message need to change. But, now for that we need to show what limit is remaining, which will come next release.

We are showing hours if user hits daily limit first.

Now, Its not required to show hours. As we are providing subscription so user must aware about his plan and limit.

In Membership prices:

As per current document:

The values of -1 = Do not want to set price and 0 = Free.

So how much does the user pay for the plan if set to -1?

-1= do not want to set price => site admin don't want to sale that plan.
So, subscription button will be disabled.

Please, make necessary changes in that document.

0 = free, everyone can subscribe to that plan, user will not redirect to
paypal

Do not want to set price

It will be better to label it "Do not sale this plan" or "Disable this plan".

"Do not want to set price" sounds more like free.

I just put it as Not for Sale.

Simple.

Yeah,
"Disable this plan" sounds fine.
"Not for sale" looks like for some goods.

@sanketio will change it right now. Only need to change text in file.

Disable this plan does not give the user the reason why it is disabled. Not for Sale sounds more explicit that the plan is not for sale.

Yes, you are selling a product - goods - except that here it is a product or service.

Just my 2 cents on this.

"Not for sale" is much better. Go with that.
