Your master branch still requires this older version, which is a problem if there are libraries that use 0.9.2. I see it is updated on develop. It would be nice it the package in PyPI were similarly updated. Of course I can just install from the develop branch, in the meantime, but you've been "depped", so that isn't a good solution.
Out of curiosity, do you have a preference for specific version requirements over xmltodict>=0.9.0?

I will update xmltodict requirement, sync up branches and update package. Typically, I prefer specific version declarations for requirements. It adds some maintenance overhead, but limits limits likelihood of breakage caused by upstream changes. xmltodict's API is pretty stable, so I am ok with a version range.
Master and develop are now in sync. Also, new package has been uploaded to pypi. There were some significant changes between master and develop. I did cursory testing, but I was a bit rushed. Let me know if you see any issues.
