Hi, I wonder if we plan to support transfer status on the new web UI (which is proposed by rucio/rucio#6189)?

I'm a developer from the ALTO team. Our team has helped with the improvement of the transfer monitoring on FTS3. We are willing to look at if we can also help with the transfer monitoring on the Rucio web UI.

From our current understanding, as a starting point, it only needs to represent the content of the Rucio requests table. Furthermore, if we want to support other fancy information like transfer rates, we can refer to the monitoring UI for the selected transfer tool (e.g., FTS3).

Hey @fno2010, thanks for reaching out!

I would not have the time to work on this until the initial WebUI release and testing have reached a stable state, but If you are interested in implementing this, I can loop you into the details of the WebUI development process and help review the issues/PRs for the same.

Would you like to get on a call next week for a walkthrough of the codebase? @rcarpa would probably join us as well.

@maany Wonderful! I have gone through the current codebase. I added the types for requests as a starting point. I think we also need to add changes to infrastracture and then component-library. It will be greatly helpful if we can find a good time to go through the details.
