On https://z0r.de/7762 (SWF) there was a regression introduced by b1318ec.
This was merged in #4540. Later #4594 fixed some regressions of that, but not this one.

Before the linked commit, the animation plays basically fine (with some white flickers after every 2nd-3rd loop); but after that, the animation is mostly just white, with an occasional frame flashing up.

Looks like #7570 fixes this.
