Option to view nodes as single item per line list as per Rundeck 2.x in Rundeck 3.x #4023
Comments
can you screenshot exactly where you are having this problem? thanks |
Rundeck 2 - available nodes are listed 1 per line Rundeck 2 method is much easier to scroll through the list to find the node you want to carry out operation against. |
Yes, on the nodes page each node takes up 2 lines, This is really annoying, takes up lots of space, doubles the vertical scrolling required and makes it difficult to copy/paste nodes into other files or an email having used a node filter to produce a list.
This is a definite step backwards, there's no extra information or anythign useful here, it's simply made using the tool harder. Note the previous posts are mixing the nodes and jobs page but basically the same issue is on both. There's another rissue raised for the jobs page. |
In an effort to focus on bugs and issues that impact currently supported versions of Rundeck, we have elected to notify GitHub issue creators if their issue is classified as stale and close the issue. An issue is identified as stale when there have been no new comments, responses or other activity within the last 12 months. If a closed issue is still present please feel free to open a new Issue against the current version and we will review it. If you are an enterprise customer, please contact your Rundeck Support to assist in your request. |
IMPORTANT: Please search the existing Issues and look at the Trello board for your idea before posting.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Having multiple nodes listed per line in jobs is not easily visible. Having to run a cmd-f to find nodes is a pain.
Describe the solution you'd like
Offer the list view option as it was in Rundeck 2.x
