Project does not open in UE4

Hi,
I have recently started working with UE4 and came across this project. However i cannot open it in the editor due an error caused by the UE4Duino plugin.

I get this error when i try to convert the project to the newer version of Unreal:
ERROR: UBT ERROR: Failed to produce item: /home/streetscooter/Unreal-Engine-4-Bicycle-Simulator-with-AI 4.14/Plugins/UE4Duino/Binaries/Linux/libUE4Editor-UE4Duino.so

And when i skip the conversion, I get the error:
BikeV3 could not be compiled, try building from source manually.

This project was created for their master thesis in college, it is very unlikely you will get any support from the original author.
