Error on awesome-app "awesome-app dev" #3

when I run 'awesome-app dev' command I get this error. I'm guessing it's because I don't have npm installed but this should be mentioned in the readme that it's a required dependency.

~ awesome-app dev

FAIL - No such file or directory (os error 2)
