Won't install on linux debian7 x64 #519

Build succeeds and executable works, but make install fails without root privileges, and with root privileges, tries to rebuild the project in /root/ and fails with an error message
CMake Error: The source directory "/root/.cargo/git/checkouts/git2-rs-cf258e7bcbaee34d/master/libgit2/build/libgit2" does not appear to contain CMakeLists.txt.
