We decided that for now, for better or for worse, the level of formality implied by this proposal does not match how the team generally works.

That is, we tend to instead work via a more organic "try things and see what sticks" approach, with some "light steering" from the compiler team leads.

So for now, I am going to close this meeting proposal. To be clear: I still have concerns about the long-term scalability of our team and its processes. But I am willing to wait until the inherent problems become a more significant roadblock.
