I amm using debian tried installing rust using the recommended method but getting following error
curl --proto '=https' --tlsv1.2 -sSf https://sh.rustup.rs | sh
E: No packages found
i did install rust using apt package manager but its giving me older version 1.63.0 and i am not able to update it
want to do following
sudo cargo build --release
error: package alacritty v0.14.0-dev (/home/user/Downloads/alacritty/alacritty) cannot be built because it requires rustc 1.70.0 or newer, while the currently active rustc version is 1.63.0
