I know there are several process but I can't know where this feature is now. In addition, it looks it's stabilized once for 2.0 so I want to know what's missing for 1.x. Can anyone show public that?

The issue says this is tracking issue but it looks nothing is being tracked.

@anatawa12 I think the issue is that even the rustfmt team isn't too sure what outstanding issues are blocking stabilization for this one.

I don't know if this is a blocker but I did a quick search through the issue tracker and found #4726. There may be other outstanding issues but I don't have the time to check.

If anyone is interested in moving this option closer to stabilization I'd recommend starting with bullet number 1 listed on #5367 (comment).
