Setup Guide to Share Channels

Pre-requisites

• A need to share your channels with other users
• Access to aforementioned user's myplex credentials and/or authToken

Instructions

1. [Install] (https://github.com/rxsegrxup/RunTellThat#installation) RTT.
2. [Configure] (https://github.com/rxsegrxup/RunTellThat#using-the-config-file) RTT Server using the values of the PMS server containing the channels to be shared.
   If this is done on the same server that the PMS containing channels is on you can use localhost for the destination server config. However, $destserverre needs to be set to the remote ip of the server.
3. [Install] (https://plex.tv/downloads) PMS on the RTT Server. This will be used as DummyPMS.
   3b. If RTT and the PMS containing channels reside on the same server, ensure you have backed up the existing preferences file and stopped PMS before performing the ghosting.
4. [Ghost] (https://github.com/rxsegrxup/RunTellThat#ghost-mapping) DummyPMS to all necessary users.
   4b. If RTT and the PMS containing channels is the same server, stop PMS, restore the preferences file and restart pms.
