I just want to have one timber file per day, so I set the filename template to YYYY-MM-DD [Note]. I'm on iOS.
It works fine when the note file is not present, but when the note file is present, it just opens obsidian without switching to the timber note.
Btw: Great plug-in!

Maybe have a different timber command (timber2), which looks for the note name with the largest value (=most recent) and opens this one - that would help a lot for my use case (see shortcuts attached (Inbox 1 = your timber shortcut)), which I‘d then modify to either open the most recent timber or create a new one
