Compiling programs for jor1k

Hi,

How can we compile custom utilities for jor1k (I've looked for a wiki page, but it seems currently missing) ? I'm not familiar with OpenRISC, is it possible to use compilers such as gcc / clang ?

You can use this VirtualBox image: http://opencores.org/or1k/Ubuntu_VirtualBox-image_updates_and_information

The emulator is just running the code, instructions on the toolchain wouldn't fit here, since they are applicable to all OpenRISC applications.
