The architecture uses the term Target Endpoint. The terminology draft should reflect this.
Also, Target Endpoint could be considered a Role (that would apply to every Endpoint until stated otherwise).
To support a more consistent assignment of Roles it could be beneficial to be able to assign the inverse of the Target Endpoint Role - “Not a Target Endpoint” - explicitly (which might need a better name than that). This would enable a default, in which SACM Component would assess themselves if not stated otherwise.
