Epidemics don't start when they should #28
Comments
I am using the month limit and people limit from the config. I'll check it's working correctly though. Could it be just you don't get any infected patients as they don't come all the time anyway, especially since you need X many patients before one starts. |
#gbv.ReduceContPeepCount is 20 and #gbv.ReduceContMonths 3 set at 3 and I get more than 20 in first 6 months so it can't be that unless that is per disease? |
It shouldn't be per disease no, i'll check this tomorrow not quite sure why it is causing it then. |
With the latest version as of yesterday I am in the second year and have had more than 70 visitors and my first victim has been spawned. It is March, which is better than May, the map settings are |
It's on my to-do. I'm just making the diseases have the contagious property first rather than relying on non-visual only. I should be looking at this tomorrow. Are you getting patients that can possibly be contagious spawn i.e have a contagious disease? |
I reckon so, at the moment nearly all of the diseases could be. |
Okay downloaded the full branch and started a new game. Not seen any new config options, but I'll take a closer look tomorrow. |
I think I have mentioned this before. I have noticed that you never get an epidemic generated in the first year. Usually it is May of the second year before one is created, I have even altered the level file so that there is only a delay of three months, but still it is the second year and again in May for some reason!
Is this hard coded somewhere?
