If there is no password set for device lock, the gui doesn't create containers. (Once I set up a device lock, it works.)

That's a known issue, but one that's fairly easy to work around. I'm curious whether the lock code would still be necessary to launch the container after it has been created.

I don't think this will be a quick fix, as @r3vn no longer uses Sailfish as far as I know, and I myself have a Droidian/Sailfish dualboot but tend to use Droidian more often lately.
