Putting partial stack of unpaid items into a container in a shop gives error message. #98

  • Start in a shop while standing on a container owned by the shop and holding a stack of unpaid items.
  • #loot the container and put items in.
  • Type a number less than the number in the stack.
  • Click on the stack or type the corresponding number.
  • Hit return

No real problems were noticed, just the unexpected message.

This looks like a problem in NetHack itself, but I could not reproduce it. Could you upload a backup file?

This only seems to happen when you have a stack of unpaid items that you have named. If you unname them, the error goes away.

Not sure how I'm supposed to fix this since it's a bug in NetHack. It doesn't cause any major problems, so I'll leave it for now.
