As an administrator who needs to work with installations provided in .iso format, it would be useful to have .iso files work with archive.extracted.

Describe the solution you'd like

  • support for iso in archive.extracted

Describe alternatives you've considered

  • manual implementation with pycdlib in a custom module
  • cobbling together CLI tools to extract

pycdlib does indeed look like the path to follow
