@samvloeberghs I opened a PR, please check if everything is okay, but I think this was trivial. I checked scully version in your package.json and it seems to be already using the one where 'render' plugin type is already deprecated. Although I did not run any scripts to test it.

Since there seems to be no more maintenance on this plugin, I will create a PR to move it to @scullyio and apply all the necessary changes there for further maintenance and support.
Thanks to the author for creating it initially.
