/app directory version

When will this template be migrated to use the /app directory? Happy to provide support if existing efforts are underway 🫶

Chiming in... The project I've developed on top of this template seems that it could benefit from migrating to the app directory.

According to this discussion the app directory is considered stable as of May 4th 2023: vercel/next.js#41745 (comment) in 13.4 https://nextjs.org/blog/next-13-4

We just shipped an App Router version here: https://github.com/vercel/next.js/tree/canary/examples/cms-sanity
This template will remain on Pages Router so we have at least one example left ☺️
