<p>Arthur C. Lueder, Postmaster of Chicago for many years, will retire from his office on September 30. Ernest J. Kruetgen, at present a member of the Illinois Commerce Commission, is slated to be his successor. Kruetgen's formal appointment has not yet been made, but Postmaster General Farley and Senators J. Hamilton Lewis and W. Dietrich are supporting his candidacy for the post.</p>
