Comments
Same problem here. Whole keyboard layout changes to Malay after using Avro. |
Please try this. http://linux.omicronlab.com/2016/09/25/fix-arch-gnome-arabic.html |
@sarim it worked! Do you have any plan to release a newer version with this fixes for gnome 3.20 or later releases? |
@AnwarShah yeah, v2 with complete rewrite is in the works. But what is the problem with gnome 3.20? |
@sarim Great to hear! I don't know about gnome 3.20. I problem occurred in Ubuntu 17.04 which is mostly 3.22 and 3.24. I mentioned 3.20 because the article mentioned it and I assumed the problem is in gnome 2.20 and higher. |
It's not related to GNOME, but |
hope this version is based on gtk3 and with updated dependencies. Really appreciate your work. |
Hello,
I updated my Ubuntu to 17.04 today and after that ibus-avro prints arabic characters. It was working fine before. I tried bn to us trick as suggested in the website but that's of no use. It still prints Arabic characters instead of Bengali.
Can you please help???
