Hello,

I updated my Ubuntu to 17.04 today and after that ibus-avro prints arabic characters. It was working fine before. I tried bn to us trick as suggested in the website but that's of no use. It still prints Arabic characters instead of Bengali.

Can you please help???

Same problem here. Whole keyboard layout changes to Malay after using Avro.

@sarim it worked! Do you have any plan to release a newer version with this fixes for gnome 3.20 or later releases?

@AnwarShah yeah, v2 with complete rewrite is in the works. But what is the problem with gnome 3.20?

@sarim Great to hear! I don't know about gnome 3.20. I problem occurred in Ubuntu 17.04 which is mostly 3.22 and 3.24. I mentioned 3.20 because the article mentioned it and I assumed the problem is in gnome 2.20 and higher.

It's not related to GNOME, but xkeyboard-config (xkb-data). The problem was introduced in version 2.19 of xkeyboard-config, and will be worked around in version 2.21.

hope this version is based on gtk3 and with updated dependencies. Really appreciate your work.
