Now before you mark this as not planned, I urge you to at the very least reconsider your wording.

I'd like to believe that this is simply a misunderstanding on the administrator's part, however 'Free Palestine' calls to 'free' the region of Jews; a nicer way of calling for the genocide of the Jews in the region.
Ask yourself what happens to the 10 million people who live in that region once Palestine is 'free'.

Regardless of your political beliefs, calling for the death of 10 million people -- 2 million of which are Arab -- surely goes against the core values of this community. Or at least I would hope so.

I think it is more appropriate to swap the current banner with a banner that supports stopping the violence as opposed to encouraging more of it.

-----
It is inappropriate to include political and offensive content in public code repositories.

Public code repositories should be neutral spaces for collaboration and community, free from personal or political views that could alienate or discriminate against others. Political content, especially that which targets or disparages minority groups, can be harmful and divisive. It can make people feel unwelcome and unsafe, and it can create a hostile work environment.

Please refrain from adding such content to public code repositories.
