steps

  • Create an sbt build in a folder with spaces on Windows
  • Run sbt bspConfig
  • Open Metals and Switch build server. Or import in IntelliJ using BSP.

problem

Metals and IntelliJ cannot connect to sbt server. See scalameta/metals#5107.

expectation

They should be able to connect
