TB4 5K monitor support

Hi @SchmockLord,
I am trying to switch my 5800x build to intel, and found this MB is the best one for me(D4 and TB4), I have a LG 5K monitor, but
from the official guide, it seems it only support 5K output by iGPU, if using my 5500xt with the dp in port, it only support 4K output, but not sure my understanding is correct.

have you got chance test it if the TB4 can output 5K?

@evenlee I cannot test this. But if it's true what's written in the manual, then you need either a dedicated TB card like the Gigabyte Titan Ridge 1.0/2.0. Because, when the iGPU is not used by macOS. I have only tested DP via TB from the onboard TB with 4k@120Hz.

Thanks for the details, i will check if 5K monitor can work good in a 4K reslolution
