I saw the mention of Tags in the code but no usage. Is this still planned as a zero storage entity?

Currently you can implement tags by just setting them to empty objects. There is not currently any optimizations around this, it will just allocate an array with an empty object for each component with that tag. It is a good suggestion for future optimization.
