Currently not really possible as all we have available is onbeforeprint which is synchronous and cannot be deferred (we would need an async print event).
See whatwg/html#2532 for feature request.

One workaround would be to only display a specific div with and display:none all the rest of the page when user uses file:print or ctrl+p. We could remove that class with onbeforeprint in cases where the iframe is used.
