I created a local account with email a@b.c and then i created a google account for a@b.c so now i have 2 accounts in the user table. then i login to the google account and try to link the local account and it doesn't work... for whatever reason it fails.

but if i do the reverse and login to the local account and link the google account, then it works fine.

also i noticed that i still have 2 account after linking the accounts... shouldn't there be a cleanup? or never even create the second account if we have a match in the emails?

The Idea, would be for you to login to 1 of the accounts, and then connect / link a second login type..

If you log in 2 different ways from the start, then you have 2 accounts. End of.
You would need your own code to do a cleanup/merge of two accounts.
