Run docker inside scotch-box

Is there a way to run Dockerfile inside the box..?

I have a local node based app that runs with Dockerfile.
I also have a lamp based app that runs inside the vagrant machine (with scotch-box).

The apps are communicating with each other by API.

I want to work on the apps on the local machine.
How can I run the docker based app inside the machine so the apps will know each other and be able to communicate...?
