What's next for news.scripting.com?

The usage of news.scripting.com keeps going up, and that's a good thing. 😄

If you have any comments, feature requests, bug reports, etc -- I'm interested in hearing, so I know how to think about investing more time in it.

Do you have any thoughts about creating something like this as an adjunct to your blog, or for your organization? Would you be interested in knowing more about how you could do that?

I'm thinking about the next projects I want to do here, so it's a good time for input.

If this was something that I could get running on my existing hosting box (unsure whether I have command line access; I know I have sftp access) I would definitely be interested.

And if it's doable, the next direction I would want to take it would be server-side actions on the ingest RSS feeds:

• Filter feeds and present a tab that include/exclude stories that match
• Generate feeds on the server using various tools, including accessing HTML pages without a feed and using AI to categorize/summarize/synthesize (For example, there's a newsletter/web page I subscribe to with occasional important information surrounded by lots of fluff. If AI can filter 80% of the fluff, and I can parse each newsletter item into a separate RSS entry that I just skim, I'd be able to skim more quickly through less fluff to find the gems.)
