<lb ed="#Ba" n="61"/>per vestigium habettria essentialia sibi :
<lb ed="#Ba" n="62"/>quorum primum est ut vestigium in
ra<lb break="no" ed="#Ba" n="63"/>tione vestigii cognoscatur. Secundum est
<lb ed="#Ba" n="64"/>utab ipso cognitio inquisiliva Creatoris
<lb ed="#Ba" n="65"/>incipiat. Tertium est ut utens vestigio,
<lb ed="#Ba" n="66"/>cognitionis Creatoris sit aliquo modo
<lb ed="#Ba" n="67"/>capax. Et sic cognitio per vestigium non
<lb ed="#Ba" n="68"/>competit nisi homini.

<lb ed="#Ba" n="69"/>Dicexoum ergo ad primum, quod non
<lb ed="#Ba" n="70"/>competit Angelis duabus rationibus,
sci<lb break="no" ed="#Ba" n="71"/>licet, quia Angeli non indigent
cogni<lb break="no" ed="#Ba" n="72"/>tione collativa qu est quasi
conjectura<lb break="no" ed="#Ba" n="73"/>lis, co quod ipsi videant intellectu
dei<lb break="no" ed="#Ba" n="74"/>formi. Alia est quia Angelorum
cogni<lb break="no" ed="#Ba" n="75"/>tio non incipit a creatura, ut sic deveniat
<lb ed="#Ba" n="76"/>in Creatorem: sed potius’e contra, ut
<lb ed="#Ba" n="77"/>probat objectio. Unde ratio prima
pro<lb break="no" ed="#Ba" n="78"/>cedit ab insufficienti.

bru<lb break="no" ed="#Ba" n="80"/>tis, dicendum quodipsa non habent
cogni<lb break="no" ed="#Ba" n="81"/>tionem vestigii duabus de causis: quarum
<lb ed="#Ba" n="82"/>una est, quia non cognoscunt vestigium
<lb ed="#Ba" n="83"/>ut vesligium, eo quod non conferunt.
<lb ed="#Ba" n="84"/>Secunda, quia tale animal non est capax
<lb ed="#Ba" n="85"/>cognitionis Creatoris.

<lb ed="#Ba" n="87"/>quod (ut dicit Damascenus) talia

\ermiculus non apprehendit praeceptum

<lb ed="#Ba" n="15"/>ulilur enim Dominus motibus hujusmodi
<lb ed="#Ba" n="16"/>animalium ad quod voluerit : et in hoc
