<lb ed="#Bc" n="5"/>non est dubitabile aliquid, nisi de
diffi<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="6"/>nitione virtutis, quam ponit Magister : et
<lb ed="#Bc" n="7"/>de hac etiam in aliis diffinitionibus et
<lb ed="#Bc" n="8"/>virtutibus in communi disputatum est in
<lb ed="#Bc" n="9"/>alia summa prolixe valde et diligenter.
<lb ed="#Bc" n="10"/>Sed in ista hic tamen reputamus diffini~
<lb ed="#Bc" n="11"/>tionem quae ponitur hic, scilicet quod

<lb ed="#Bc" n="14"/>predicatio denominativi, aut substantia—
<lb ed="#Bc" n="15"/>lis. Si denominativi: tune virtuti non
<lb ed="#Bc" n="16"/>convenit ratio bonitatis, quod falsum
<lb ed="#Bc" n="17"/>est : cum virtus sit bonitas quedam,
<lb ed="#Bc" n="18"/>quia bonum est finis appetitus, quia
<lb ed="#Bc" n="19"/>ipsum est quod optatur et desideratur :
<lb ed="#Bc" n="20"/>virtus autem cum sit de partibus
hone<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="21"/>sti, cadit sub divisione boni: et ita
sub<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="22"/>stantialiter bonum predicatur de ipsa
<lb ed="#Bc" n="23"/>virtute. Si autem hoc concedatur, quod
<lb ed="#Bc" n="24"/>predicatur substantialiter : cum igitur

<lb ed="#Bc" n="46"/>multi abusi sunt virtute, ponentes eam
<lb ed="#Bc" n="47"/>esse summum bonum in vita, ut quidam
<lb ed="#Bc" n="48"/>Stoicorum.

di<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="50"/>cit, Quam solus Deus operatur in
ho<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="51"/>mine. Si enim intelligatur de virtute
<lb ed="#Bc" n="52"/>consuetudinali, plane falsum est: quia
<lb ed="#Bc" n="53"/>illius cause efficientes sunt scire, velle,
<lb ed="#Bc" n="54"/>et perseveranter operari. Si autem
loqui<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="55"/>mur de virtute infusa, adhuc falsum est
<lb ed="#Bc" n="56"/>in adultis quibus nihil infunditur nisi
vo<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="57"/>lentibus.

conve<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="59"/>nire videtur : ergo virtus est gratia.

<lb ed="#Bc" n="61"/>substantiale virfuti : et tamen majoris
<lb ed="#Bc" n="62"/>est simplicitatis quam virtus : quia

<lb ed="#Bc" n="64"/>esse, sed virtus actum : et ideo nihil

<lb ed="#Bc" n="73"/>diflinit virtutem infusam cum gratia
gra<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="74"/>tum faciente. Hujusmodi autem ut in
<lb ed="#Bc" n="75"/>primo subjecto recipitur in eo quod est
<lb ed="#Bc" n="76"/>proximum Deo : hoc autem est mens per
<lb ed="#Bc" n="77"/>descensum : postea partes virtutum sunt
<lb ed="#Bc" n="78"/>in potentiis aliis.
