<lb ed="Bd" n="36"/>fomitem, et causam peecati, qualiter
<lb ed="Bd" n="37"/>Apostolus sumit peccatum in epistola ad
<lb ed="Bd" n="38"/>Roman. vu, 16 et 17: Si autem quod
<lb ed="Bd" n="39"/>nolo, ilud facie, consentio legi,

<lb ed="Bd" n="41"/>ego operor illud: sed quod habitat

<lb ed="Bd" n="52"/>aliis a quibus propagalione traducta est: non immerilo videri potest in
<lb ed="Bd" n="53"/>Abraham peccato subjacuisse, cujus universa caro peccato subjaceat.

<lb ed="Bd" n="2"/>Christus, cum in lumbis Abrahe uterque fueril secundum materialem
<lb ed="Bd" n="3"/>ralionem, quando Abraham decimatus est, et decimas dedit
Melchise<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="4"/>dech ? Tunc enim Apostolus Levi decimatum dicit in Abraham, tamquam
<lb ed="Bd" n="5"/>in materiali causa : quia ea decimatione sicul Abraham minor
Melchise<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="6"/>dech ostendilur, cui personaliter decimas solvit ' : ita et Leviticus ordo,
<lb ed="Bd" n="7"/>qui in Abraham secundum rationem seminalem erat, et ex eo per
concu<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="8"/>piscentiam carnis descendil. Christus autem non est decimatus : quia licet
<lb ed="Bd" n="9"/>ibi fuerit secundum carnem, non tamen inde descendit secundum legem
<lb ed="Bd" n="10"/>communem, scilicet per carnis libidinem : sicut etiam in Adam omnes
<lb ed="Bd" n="11"/>peccaverunt, sed non Christus.

<lb ed="Bd" n="12"/>Unde Augustinus super Genesim: Sicut in Adam peccante, gui in
<lb ed="Bd" n="13"/>lumbis ejus erant, peccaverunt : sic Abraham dante decimas, qui in lumbis
<lb ed="Bd" n="14"/>ejus erant, decimati sunt. Sed hoc non sequitur in Christo, licet in lumbis
<lb ed="Bd" n="15"/>Adee et Abrahes fuerit : quia non secundum concupiscentiain carnis inde
<lb ed="Bd" n="16"/>descendit. Cum ergo Levi et Christus secundum carnem essent in lumbis
<lb ed="Bd" n="17"/>Abrahe, quando decimatus est, ideo pariler decimati non sunt, quia
<lb ed="Bd" n="18"/>secundum aliquem modum non eratibi Christus quo eral ibi Levi.
Secun<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="19"/>dum rationem quippe illam seminalem ibi fuit Levi, qua ratione per
con<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="20"/>cubitum venturus erat in matrem : secundum quam rationem non erat ibi
<lb ed="Bd" n="21"/>Christi caro, quamvis secundum ipsam ibi fuerit Marie caro. [Ha ergo
<lb ed="Bd" n="22"/>decimatus est in Abraham, qui sic fuil in lumbis Abrahe sicut ille fuit in
