<lb ed="#Bc" n="5"/>quorum primum est, Utrum potentia
<lb ed="#Bc" n="6"/>peccandi sit potentia vel impotentia?
<lb ed="#Bc" n="7"/>Secundum, Utrum sit a Deo?
<lb ed="#Bc" n="8"/>Tertium, Utrum sit una, vel plures ?

<lb ed="#Bc" n="52"/>malum, potest esse dupliciter, scilicet ad
<lb ed="#Bc" n="53"/>malum privationis pure, et haec potentia
<lb ed="#Bc" n="54"/>est materialis, et defectus est in omnibus
<lb ed="#Bc" n="55"/>corporalibus et spiritualibus : et de hac
<lb ed="#Bc" n="56"/>non loquimur hic : quia ultimum illius
<lb ed="#Bc" n="57"/>(ut dicit Philosophus, insuper et
Com<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="58"/>mentator in libro de Celo et Adundo) est
<lb ed="#Bc" n="59"/>in minimo : ut si vinci potest ab uno,
<lb ed="#Bc" n="60"/>potest vinci a duobus, et tribus, et sic
<lb ed="#Bc" n="61"/>deinceps. Dicitur etiam potentia mali
po<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="62"/>tentia faciendi malum: et tunc oportet
<lb ed="#Bc" n="63"/>quod malum accipiatur in actione mala,
<lb ed="#Bc" n="64"/>secundum quod supra diximus, quod
<lb ed="#Bc" n="65"/>malum habet causam deficientem et
effi<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="66"/>cientem : et sic illa potentia potest
con<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="67"/>siderari tripliciter, scilicet secundum
ra<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="68"/>dicem in qua radicatur in subjecto
poten<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="69"/>tie, et secundum essentiam potenti, et

Pri<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="71"/>mo modo est potentia, et secundo modo:
<lb ed="#Bc" n="72"/>et sic intelligitur illud Philosophi, quod
<lb ed="#Bc" n="73"/>potestas prave agendi est bona. Sed
ter<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="74"/>tio modo adhuc dupliciter consideratur,
<lb ed="#Bc" n="75"/>scilicet per comparationem ad
substan<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="76"/>tiam actus, vel per comparationem ad
<lb ed="#Bc" n="77"/>actum sub deformitate. Et primo modo
<lb ed="#Bc" n="78"/>est potentia adhuc. Secundo autem modo
<lb ed="#Bc" n="79"/>est potentia cum impotentia permixta
<lb ed="#Bc" n="80"/>sibi. Si autem comparetur ad deformita—
<lb ed="#Bc" n="81"/>tem solam : tunc non est potentia activa,
<lb ed="#Bc" n="82"/>sed materialis defectus et debilitas
suc<lb break="no" ed="#Bc" n="83"/>cumbens malitie : sicut dicimus hune
