<lb ed="Bd" n="43"/>Et videtur, quod non. Virtus enim est

<lb ed="Bd" n="44"/>habitus voluntarius in medietate
consi<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="45"/>stens, quoad nos determinata a ratione,
<lb ed="Bd" n="46"/>et ut sapiens determinabit. Latria autem
<lb ed="Bd" n="47"/>non habet hujusmodi medium : quia
<lb ed="Bd" n="48"/>Deus non potest nimis coli. Ergo latria
<lb ed="Bd" n="49"/>non est virtus.

<lb ed="Bd" n="74"/>est virtus, et solvendum ad rationem

habi<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="76"/>tus est in medietate consistens. Sed
ce<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="77"/>cundum Philosophum non omnes
virtu<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="78"/>tes habent unius rationis medium : non
<lb ed="Bd" n="79"/>enim habent omnes medium materia
<lb ed="Bd" n="80"/>virtutis inter multum et parum, ut dicit
<lb ed="Bd" n="81"/>Aristoteles in V Ethicorum : sed habent
<lb ed="Bd" n="82"/>quoddam medium, quod est ratio recta :
<lb ed="Bd" n="83"/>sicut illa quae sunt in ratione, ut
pru<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="84"/>dentia, et justitia cum suis partibus: et
<lb ed="Bd" n="85"/>hoc est medium ad quod dirigitur opus,
<lb ed="Bd" n="86"/>et tale medium habet virtus ista. Bene
<lb ed="Bd" n="87"/>enim concedo, quod Deus nimis non
pot<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="88"/>est coli. Sunt tamen quidam qui dicunt,
<lb ed="Bd" n="89"/>quod omnis virtus politica habet
me<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="90"/>dium inter multum et parum : et illi
di<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="91"/>cunt, quod Deus nimis potest coli, et

conce<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="4"/>do, quod non est theologica virtus, nec
<lb ed="Bd" n="5"/>aliqua pars alicujus theologice virtutis.

<lb ed="Bd" n="7"/>adducta, licet verum concludant, et sint
<lb ed="Bd" n="8"/>Magistrorum, non sunt tamen ex
pro<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="9"/>priis Ethice : quia hoc meo judicio non
<lb ed="Bd" n="10"/>est verum, quod nullus actus sit
merito<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="11"/>rius, nisi actus virtulis: quia proprie
<lb ed="Bd" n="12"/>actus virtutis dicitur qui similis est
vir<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="13"/>tuti, et ex hoc generaretur et perficeretur
<lb ed="Bd" n="14"/>ab assuetudine, sicut aggredi ardua, et
<lb ed="Bd" n="15"/>subire voluntarie terribilia, sunt
fortitu<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="16"/>dinis : et continere a delectabilibus
inna<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="17"/>lis, et venereis, et gustabilibus est
tem<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="18"/>perantiae : et hujusmodi. Et praeter hoc
<lb ed="Bd" n="19"/>ire ad Ecclesiam, vel sedere, vel stare,
<lb ed="Bd" n="20"/>non sunt actus alicujus virtutis : et
me<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="21"/>ritorie possunt fieri. Sed Magistri qui
<lb ed="Bd" n="22"/>inducunt istam propositionem, accipiunt
<lb ed="Bd" n="23"/>virtutis aclum generaliter : quia scilicet
<lb ed="Bd" n="24"/>elicitur ab aliqua virtute, quocumque
<lb ed="Bd" n="25"/>modo, et precipue a charitate quae est
<lb ed="Bd" n="26"/>quasi motor universalis in omnibus
bo<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="27"/>nis operibus.
