<lb ed="Bd" n="25"/>quod Christus sit filius adoptivus? Ex
<lb ed="Bd" n="26"/>hoc enim, ut habitum est, non sequitur,
<lb ed="Bd" n="27"/>quod ipse fuerit filius ire: quia hoc
ac<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="28"/>cidit gratiae adoptionis. Si dicas, quod
<lb ed="Bd" n="29"/>oporteret ipsum prius non fuisse filium,
<lb ed="Bd" n="30"/>et postea adoptari ut filius fieret: ipse
<lb ed="Bd" n="31"/>autem factus est Filius Dei: hoc iterum
<lb ed="Bd" n="32"/>non videtur impedire : quia ponamus
<lb ed="Bd" n="33"/>hanc opinionem esse veram, quod

confir<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="35"/>mati: sicut etiam de homine quidam di-

<lb ed="Bd" n="37"/>adoptionis sunt filii et Angeli et
homi<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="38"/>nes: ergo videtur, quod hoc etiam
ac<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="39"/>cidit gratiae adoptionis, quod inveniat
<lb ed="Bd" n="40"/>non filium illum quem facit filium : ergo
<lb ed="Bd" n="41"/>videtur, quod non impediat gquin possit
<lb ed="Bd" n="42"/>dici filius adopiivus.

<lb ed="Bd" n="43"/>Solutio Dicendum, quod in veritate,
<lb ed="Bd" n="44"/>sicut objectum est, illa accidunt gratie
<lb ed="Bd" n="45"/>adoptionis : sed quia est cliam in
Chri<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="46"/>sto homine existente ratio filiationis, et
<lb ed="Bd" n="47"/>ideo non est dicendus adoptivus.

<lb ed="Bd" n="48"/>Ad hoc intelligendum nota, quod aliud
<lb ed="Bd" n="49"/>est habere filiationem per se, et aliud
<lb ed="Bd" n="50"/>habere ex dono. Qui habet
filiatio<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="51"/>nem Dei ex dono, cum illud donum non
<lb ed="Bd" n="52"/>sit esse suum, non habet illam nisi ex
<lb ed="Bd" n="53"/>adoptionis gratia quam dedit ei Deus.
<lb ed="Bd" n="54"/>Per esse autem contingit habere duobus
<lb ed="Bd" n="55"/>modis, scilicet per actum nature qui est
<lb ed="Bd" n="56"/>ad esse: sicut nos habemus naturalia
no<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="57"/>bis per generationem accipiendo a
pa<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="58"/>rentibus naturalia eorum : et ideo sumus
<lb ed="Bd" n="59"/>filii eorum per naturam, et non per
gra<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="60"/>tiam beneplaciti eorum : et hoc modo
<lb ed="Bd" n="61"/>Filius Dei in quantum Filius Dei est Filius
<lb ed="Bd" n="62"/>Dei Patris natura. Alio modo habetur
<lb ed="Bd" n="63"/>per esse per identitatem et per unionem
<lb ed="Bd" n="64"/>ad illum qui per naturam habet. Si enim
<lb ed="Bd" n="65"/>ego sum unum tibi per esse persone tue,
<lb ed="Bd" n="66"/>quidquid tu habes per naturam, hoc

<lb ed="Bd" n="1"/>etiam naturale est mihi : licet per
unio<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="2"/>nem acceperimus, et non per actum

<lb ed="Bd" n="4"/>quantum hic homo : ita quod ly in
quan<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="5"/>tum dicat unionem, habet quod est filius
<lb ed="Bd" n="6"/>natura : et tamen hic homo non est
ge<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="7"/>nitus de Patre : et hoc est quod dicit

<lb ed="Bd" n="9"/>gratiam ; sed haec gratia non est habitus
