<lb ed="Bd" n="21"/>hic dicit, quod Deus majorem conferre

<lb ed="Bd" n="24"/>est quod hic dicit Magister: sed
intelli<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="25"/>gendum, quod omne perfectum nature et
<lb ed="Bd" n="26"/>gratia habet necessario determinatam
<lb ed="Bd" n="27"/>capacitatem in specie et natura sibi
pro<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="28"/>portionatam, cujus majorem non recipiet,
<lb ed="Bd" n="29"/>nisi mutetur species. In specie autem
ho<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="30"/>minis maxima omnium capacitatum quae
<lb ed="Bd" n="31"/>potest esse, salva specie et natura
homi<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="32"/>nis, in Christo fuit: et ideo Deus
majo<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="33"/>rem ei gratiam conferre non potuit, quia
<lb ed="Bd" n="34"/>nullus homo potest recipere majorem,
<lb ed="Bd" n="35"/>nec aliqua creatura.

<lb ed="Bd" n="38"/>et conferre : sed nihil creatum erit illius
<lb ed="Bd" n="39"/>receptibile. Unde Magister non attendit
<lb ed="Bd" n="40"/>quid Deus possit facere, cujus potentia in
<lb ed="Bd" n="41"/>nullo limitatur, sed quid in creatura

<lb ed="Bd" n="44"/>facere novam speciem, et de illa facere
<lb ed="Bd" n="45"/>Christum, et tune conferre ei gratiam
<lb ed="Bd" n="46"/>majorem: dicendum, quod hoc nihil
<lb ed="Bd" n="47"/>est : quia Deus potest facere quod vult,
<lb ed="Bd" n="48"/>sed tamen ex parte creature non posset
<lb ed="Bd" n="49"/>ordinate fieri aliqua species, quae sit
al<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="50"/>tior intellectuali natura in homine et
An<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="51"/>gelo : intellectualis enim natura
nobili<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="52"/>tate sua per intellectum capax est Dei,
<lb ed="Bd" n="53"/>et donorum suorum: et quidquid aliud
<lb ed="Bd" n="54"/>faceret Deus, non posset esse magis

<lb ed="Bd" n="56"/>maxime capax fuit Christus : unde cum
<lb ed="Bd" n="57"/>mensura gratiae ejus fuit secundum illam
<lb ed="Bd" n="58"/>capacitatem, non potest esse major ex
<lb ed="Bd" n="59"/>parte creature recipientis : et per hoc
<lb ed="Bd" n="60"/>non limitatur potentia Dei facientis, sed
<lb ed="Bd" n="61"/>polius capacitas creature recipientis. Et
<lb ed="Bd" n="62"/>est simile in materia elementi quae potest
<lb ed="Bd" n="63"/>subtiliaria grossitiae terre, et tantum
pot<lb break="no" ed="Bd" n="64"/>est subtiliari, quod non erit terra, sed
<lb ed="Bd" n="65"/>aqua : et similiter ex aqua fit aer, et
<lb ed="Bd" n="66"/>ignis ex aere : sed non est capax majoris
