<lb ed="#Be" n="59"/>4. Ipsa enim poenitentia est remedium
<lb ed="#Be" n="60"/>peccati actualis ; cum igitur restitutio sit
<lb ed="#Be" n="61"/>de emendatione cujuslibet talis peccati,
<lb ed="#Be" n="62"/>videtur esse pars satisfactionis : ergo
<lb ed="#Be" n="63"/>etiam est pars poenitentiae : quia

<lb ed="#Be" n="75"/>dolor, sed qualitercumque sive dolens
<lb ed="#Be" n="76"/>sive non dolens restituat, ipse
deobliga<lb break="no" ed="#Be" n="77"/>tur ab eo quod tenebatur restituere:

<lb ed="#Be" n="3"/>gatisfactio, quae est vel eleemosyna, vel
<lb ed="#Be" n="4"/>oratio, vel jejunium, guia satisfactio non
<lb ed="#Be" n="5"/>habet plures partes in genere : constat
<lb ed="#Be" n="6"/>autem, quod nulla est illarum : ergo
<lb ed="#Be" n="7"/>non est pars poenitentie.

<lb ed="#Be" n="8"/>Solutio. Dicendum secundum
anti<lb break="no" ed="#Be" n="9"/>quos, quod non est pars, sed
pressuppo<lb break="no" ed="#Be" n="10"/>nitur in pcenitente, ut dispositio
poeni<lb break="no" ed="#Be" n="11"/>fentis ne sit fictus : et hoc vocaverunt
<lb ed="#Be" n="12"/>antiqui fendamentum : unde dixerunt,
<lb ed="#Be" n="13"/>quod restitutio est fundamentum
satis<lb break="no" ed="#Be" n="14"/>factionis, et per consequens poenitentia.

<lb ed="#Be" n="15"/>Ad id autem quod primo objicitur,
di<lb break="no" ed="#Be" n="16"/>cendum quod ipsa non est remedium cu-

<lb ed="#Be" n="17"/>jusdam peccati, vel delens peccatum,
<lb ed="#Be" n="18"/>sed potius est dispositio presupposita in
<lb ed="#Be" n="19"/>eo in quo per poenitentiam deletur
pec<lb break="no" ed="#Be" n="20"/>catum.

<lb ed="#Be" n="21"/>Ad aliud dicendum, quod restituens
<lb ed="#Be" n="22"/>dupliciter reconciliatur proximo, scilicet
<lb ed="#Be" n="23"/>in quantum tenetur ei de damno illato
<lb ed="#Be" n="24"/>et hoc modo reconciliat restitutio, non
<lb ed="#Be" n="25"/>poenitentia proprie: velin quantum
de<lb break="no" ed="#Be" n="26"/>edificatus est proximus per malum
ex<lb break="no" ed="#Be" n="27"/>emplum : et sic satisfactio bonis operibus
<lb ed="#Be" n="28"/>reconciliat, et poenitentia per
conse<lb break="no" ed="#Be" n="29"/>quens. Et ita intelligitur, quod homo per
<lb ed="#Be" n="30"/>poenitentiam reconciliatur Deo et
proxi<lb break="no" ed="#Be" n="31"/>mo: restitutio enim recipitur etiam a
<lb ed="#Be" n="32"/>non poenitente : sicut bene probant ea
<lb ed="#Be" n="33"/>que objecta sunt in contrarium.
