determina<lb ed="#L" n="37" break="no"/>(uit magister de causalitate diuinae scientiae. Hic
<lb ed="#L" n="38"/>intendit aliqua inquire re circa modum
causalita<lb ed="#L" n="39" break="no"/>Itis. Et diuiditur in duas. Primo enim determinat
<lb ed="#L" n="40"/>de ipsius scientiae inuariabilitate. Secundo de eiu
<lb ed="#L" n="41"/>vniuersalitate. Secunda ibi, Si vero quod praedictum est. Prima
<lb ed="#L" n="42"/>diuiditur in tres. Primo mouet quaestionem & soluit. Secundo
<lb ed="#L" n="43"/>obiicit in contrarium & soluit. Tertio ponit quorundam
opi<lb ed="#L" n="44" break="no"/>nionem circa varietatem diuinae scientiae. Secunda ibi, Hic
op<lb ed="#L" n="45" break="no"/>ponitur a quibusdam. Tertia ibi, Item a quibusdam. Secunda

vniuer<lb ed="#L" n="47" break="no"/>salitate, diuiditur in tres partes. Primo obiicit contra intentum.

<lb ed="#L" n="49"/>tali nanque. Tertia ibi, Simul itaque. Et haec est diuisio literae &

<lb ed="#L" n="52"/>primo vtrum scientia dei possit augeri vel minui, vel mutari, &
<lb ed="#L" n="53"/>probat quod sic, quia poterit deus facere multa quae non faciet,
<lb ed="#L" n="54"/>& multa futura possunt non fieri quae de? faciet, sed sicut possumt
<lb ed="#L" n="55"/>res non fieri vel fieri, ita deus potest scire vel non scire, ergo scii
<lb ed="#L" n="56"/>tia dei potest variari, & sic augeri vel minui. Postea responde
<lb ed="#L" n="57"/>dicens quod scientia dei idem est quod sua essentia quae variari non
<lb ed="#L" n="58"/>potest: potest tamen aliquid variabile esse subiectum scientiae
<lb ed="#L" n="59"/>dei sine aliqua mutatione facta in sciente: & sic potest deus scire
<lb ed="#L" n="60"/>quae non scit, & nescire quae scit. Deinde obiicit & dicit quod si
<lb ed="#L" n="61"/>deus potest aliquid scire de nouo, ergo potest aliquid scire ex
<lb ed="#L" n="62"/>tempore. Et respondet quod deus potest scire quae nescit, & velle
<lb ed="#L" n="63"/>quae non vult, non tamen quod aliqua nouitas in eo fiat. Vnde
<lb ed="#L" n="64"/>propositio dicta potest dupliciter exponi vel intelligi, scilicet
<lb ed="#L" n="65"/>coniunctim & diuisim. non enim potest esse simul quod deus
ali<lb ed="#L" n="66" break="no"/>quid prius nesciat & postea sciat, sed diuisim intelligendo, & sic
<lb ed="#L" n="67"/>vera est quod deus libertatem habet sicut habuit ab aeterno
sci<lb ed="#L" n="68" break="no"/>endi vel non sciendi omnia, loquendo de notitia approbationis.
<lb ed="#L" n="69"/>Item res ipsa quantum est de se potest sciri vel non sciri. Postea
<lb ed="#L" n="70"/>subiungit quod secundum quosdam deus potest plura scire quam
<lb ed="#L" n="71"/>sciat, non tamen aliqua mutatio fit in eius scientia, sed solum in
<lb ed="#L" n="72"/>O rebus suis. Postea probat per auctoritatem Hieronymi, quod
<lb ed="#L" n="73"/>deus non sciat omnia, & quod sua prouidentia non sit omnium
<lb ed="#L" n="74"/>respondet quod imo, non enim vult dicere Hieronymus quod
<lb ed="#L" n="75"/>deus aliquid nesciat, sed quod non sciat particulatim & per
in<lb ed="#L" n="76" break="no"/>terualla temporum, sicut res per interualla temporum oriuntur
<lb ed="#L" n="77"/>& desinut, nec aequaliter prouidet rationabilibus &
irrationa<lb ed="#L" n="78" break="no"/>bilibus. Vltimo concludit quod scientia dei extenditur ad
plura<lb ed="#L" n="79" break="no"/>Et in hoc terminatur sententia in speciali.
