<lb ed="#L" n="90"/>SECVNDO quaeritur, vtrum anima primi
homi<lb ed="#L" n="91" break="no"/>nis fuerit producta ante corpus. Et videtur quod
<lb ed="#L" n="92"/>sic, quia finis proportionatur principio. Sed
ani<lb ed="#L" n="93" break="no"/>ma in fine remanet post corpus, ergo creatur
si<lb ed="#L" n="94" break="no"/>militer ante corpus.

ani<lb ed="#L" n="99" break="no"/>mam produci ante corpus. Cuius rationem assignant, quia im
<lb ed="#L" n="100"/>possibile est terminum generationis praecedere generationem.
<lb ed="#L" n="101"/>Sed anima est terminus generationis hominis, ergo &c. Item
<lb ed="#L" n="102"/>quicquid sit de anima primi hominis, saltem videtur impossibile,
<lb ed="#L" n="103"/>plures animas creari ante corpora, sicut posuit Origenes, quia
<lb ed="#L" n="104"/>formae non plurificantur secundum numerum, nisi ratione ma
<lb ed="#L" n="105"/>teriae. Anima autem comparatur ad corpus, sicut forma ad mate
<lb ed="#L" n="106"/>riam, ergo non possunt plures animae produci, nisi cum
plurali<lb ed="#L" n="107" break="no"/>tate corporum. Sed ista nullam habent necessitatem, non primum
<lb ed="#L" n="108"/>quia sicut terminus ad quem generationis non potest
praecede<lb ed="#L" n="109" break="no"/>re generationem, ita terminus a quo corruptionis non potest
<lb ed="#L" n="110"/>remanere post corruptionem. Sicut enim terminus ad quem
<lb ed="#L" n="111"/>acquiritur, ita terminus a quo abiicitur, sed si cut anima est
ter<lb ed="#L" n="112" break="no"/>minus ad quem in generatione hominis, ita est terminus a quo
<lb ed="#L" n="113"/>in eius corruptione, ergo si non potest praeexistere generationi,
<lb ed="#L" n="114"/>pari ratione non potest existere post corruptionem.

genera<lb ed="#L" n="118" break="no"/>tioni, & talis terminus non potest praeexistere generationi,
ne<lb ed="#L" n="119" break="no"/>manere post corruptionem, & tales sunt omnes formae naturale.

<lb ed="#L" n="121"/>non quia acquirit esse absolute per generationem, sed quia
ac<lb ed="#L" n="122" break="no"/>quirit esse in hoc. Et talis terminus potest manere post
corru<lb ed="#L" n="123" break="no"/>ptionem, & praeexistere generationi, sicut est de anima humana
<lb ed="#L" n="124"/>quae acquirit esse per creationem, sed esse in materia acquirit
<lb ed="#L" n="125"/>aliquo modo per generationem saltem dispositiue.

<lb ed="#L" n="134"/>anima primi hominis fuit creata cum angelis ante corpus. Et
ra<lb ed="#L" n="135" break="no"/>tio eius est, quia per opus creationis tota natura instituta est,
<lb ed="#L" n="136"/>vel in se, vel in suo simili, vel in suis causis & rationibus
semina<lb ed="#L" n="137" break="no"/>libus, sed anima primi hominis non fuit producta in suo simili,
<lb ed="#L" n="138"/>quia nulla praecessit ipsam. Nec in causis seu rationibus semina
<lb ed="#L" n="139"/>libus, quia non educitur de potentia materiae, ergo oportet q
<lb ed="#L" n="140"/>fuerit producta in se per opus creationis. Sed hoc non fuit cum
<lb ed="#L" n="141"/>corpore, quia tam secundum ipsum, quam secundum alios
san<lb ed="#L" n="142" break="no"/>ctos homo quantum ad corpus non fuit productus opere
pri<lb ed="#L" n="143" break="no"/>mae creationis, ergo anima eius fuit producta ante corpus.

<lb ed="#L" n="147"/>infunduntur, & infundendo creantur: quia res institutae sunt in
<lb ed="#L" n="148"/>perfecto statu. Sic enim institutae sunt vt aliae ex eis
propagaren<lb ed="#L" n="149" break="no"/>tur. Propagare autem alterum ex se est rei perfectae, anima autem
<lb ed="#L" n="150"/>quum sit pars humanae naturae, non habet naturalem
perfectio<lb ed="#L" n="151" break="no"/>nem; nisi secundum quod est corpori vnita, ideo &c. Et huic
<lb ed="#L" n="152"/>concordat Philosoph. 12. Metaphysic. dicens quod causae
efficien<lb ed="#L" n="153" break="no"/>tes praecedunt factum: causae vero formales nunquam, licet
ali<lb ed="#L" n="154" break="no"/>qua possit post corruptionem manere, vt anima intellectiua.
<lb ed="#L" n="155"/>Neque ratio cogit, quia illa quae creantur non supposita
ma<lb ed="#L" n="156" break="no"/>teria ex qua, vel in qua proprie pertinent ad opus creationis
<lb ed="#L" n="157"/>quod praecessit opus distinctionis & ornatus. Quae vero produ
<lb ed="#L" n="158"/>cuntur absque materia ex qua, habent tamen materiam in qua,
<lb ed="#L" n="159"/>licet de eius potentia non educantur, sicut est anima, non
