<lb ed="#L" n="3"/>IN eodem quoque paradiso, &c. Superius
de<lb ed="#L" n="4" break="no"/>terminauit magister de productione vii. Hic
de<lb ed="#L" n="5" break="no"/>terminat de productione mulieris. Et
diuidi<lb ed="#L" n="6" break="no"/>ntur in duas. Primo determinat productionem
<lb ed="#L" n="7"/>Deius, quantum ad corpus. Secundo quantum ad
<lb ed="#L" n="8"/>animam ibi, quemadmodum mulieris corpus. Prima diuiditu
<lb ed="#L" n="9"/>in duas. Primo inquirit vtrum fuerit mulier formata de costa
<lb ed="#L" n="10"/>Secundo inquirit modum formationis eius. Secunda ibi, Sole
<lb ed="#L" n="11"/>etiam quaeri, vtrum de costa. Prima in duas. Primo docet quid
<lb ed="#L" n="12"/>scriptura de formatione mulieris tradat. Secundo concludit
<lb ed="#L" n="13"/>congruitatem formationis, ibi, attendendum est. Secunda
par<lb ed="#L" n="14" break="no"/>in qua inquirit formationis modum diuiditur in tres secundum
<lb ed="#L" n="15"/>tres quaestiones quas mouet & soluit, quarum prima est circa
<lb ed="#L" n="16"/>principium materiale. Secunda vero & tertia circa principium
<lb ed="#L" n="17"/>actionis. Secunda ibi, illud autem sciri oportet. Tertia hic
quae<lb ed="#L" n="18" break="no"/>ritur, an ratio qua deus plus. Haec est sententia & diuisio

osten<lb ed="#L" n="24" break="no"/>deretur omnium aliorum hominum esse principium. De lateri
<lb ed="#L" n="25"/>autem formata fuit, quia non ad dominium, vel ad seruitutem, sed
<lb ed="#L" n="26"/>ad societatem eius producebatur. De dormiente viro fuit pro
<lb ed="#L" n="27"/>ducta, ad diuinae virtutis ostensionem, & fundationis ecclesiae
my<lb ed="#L" n="28" break="no"/>sticam significationem. Postea quaerit vtrum de sola costa, sine
<lb ed="#L" n="29"/>alterius materiae additione formata fuit mulier. Et respondet
<lb ed="#L" n="30"/>quod non fuit alia materia, quia sic magis deberet dici mulie
<lb ed="#L" n="31"/>de illa materia esse formata, quam de costa, quae multiplicata
<lb ed="#L" n="32"/>fuit virtute diuina ad totius mulieris formationem, sicut factum
<lb ed="#L" n="33"/>fuit de quinque panibus. Paulo post dicit quod angeli mulierem
<lb ed="#L" n="34"/>non formauerunt, licet ad formationem eius ministerium
prae<lb ed="#L" n="35" break="no"/>buerint. Postea quaerit vtrum in creatura fuerit ratio seminalis
<lb ed="#L" n="36"/>ad mulieris formationem. Et respondet praemittendo prime
<lb ed="#L" n="37"/>quaedam, scilicet quod rationes primordiales ab aeterno in dee
<lb ed="#L" n="38"/>fuerunt, seminales vero creaturis inditae, licet non omnium re
<lb ed="#L" n="39"/>rum, sed quarundam: addit etiam quod illae rationes possumm
<lb ed="#L" n="40"/>dici primordiales aliquo modo: Tum quia rebus in prima
crea<lb ed="#L" n="41" break="no"/>tione inditae sunt: Tum quia sunt quasi principia rerum ex ipsi
<lb ed="#L" n="42"/>producendarum. Subditque quod illa naturaliter fiunt, quae ex
<lb ed="#L" n="43"/>ratione seminali fiunt, seu producuntur. Illa vero fiunt
super<lb ed="#L" n="44" break="no"/>naturaliter, quorum causae tantum sunt in deo. In rebus
ve<lb ed="#L" n="45" break="no"/>ro creatis est potentia, vt haec possint fieri, non tamen
neces<lb ed="#L" n="46" break="no"/>sitas vt sint: ex his concludit quod formatio mulieris non fuit
<lb ed="#L" n="47"/>secundum causas seminales, sed supernaturaliter ex diuina
vir<lb ed="#L" n="48" break="no"/>tute. Vitimo ostendit quod quidam posuerunt animam
mulie<lb ed="#L" n="49" break="no"/>ris de anima viri esse propagatam. Alij vero ab initio cum
cae<lb ed="#L" n="50" break="no"/>teris animabus dicunt fuisse creatam. Sed secundum
catholi<lb ed="#L" n="51" break="no"/>cam fidem creando infunditur, & infundendo creatur. Vnde
<lb ed="#L" n="52"/>beatus Hieronymus excommunicat eos qui dicunt animam
<lb ed="#L" n="53"/>esse ex traduce, vbi ponit auctoritates, per quas multi errores
<lb ed="#L" n="54"/>circa productionem animae excluduntur. Er in hoc terminatur
<lb ed="#L" n="55"/>sententia, &c.
