alte<lb ed="#L" n="101" break="no"/>rius speciei, non fuit grauissimum, sed comparando tamen ad
<lb ed="#L" n="102"/>peccata eiusdem speciei fuit quo ad aliquid grauissimum.
Pri<lb ed="#L" n="103" break="no"/>mum patet, quia peccatum tanto est grauius secundum
spe<lb ed="#L" n="104" break="no"/>ciem peccati, quanto actus cadit super materiam magis
inde<lb ed="#L" n="105" break="no"/>bitam, sicut homicidium est grauius furto secundum speciem
<lb ed="#L" n="106"/>peccati, quia & plus est diligenda persona proximi, & minus
lae<lb ed="#L" n="107" break="no"/>denda, quam res extrinseca. Sed peccata multorum cadunt
su<lb ed="#L" n="108" break="no"/>per materiam magis indebitam, quam peccatum primorum
pa<lb ed="#L" n="109" break="no"/>rentum, vt peccatum idololatriae vel blasphemiae, ergo, &c.

<lb ed="#L" n="113"/>facilitas, tum quia in eis vigebat magis ratio, tum quia nihil erat
<lb ed="#L" n="114"/>intrinsecum quod impelleret ad praue concupiscendum sicu
<lb ed="#L" n="115"/>in nobis, ergo quo ad hoc peccatum fuit grauissimum. Dico
au<lb ed="#L" n="116" break="no"/>tem quo ad hoc, quia nihil prohibet in peccato disciplinae alia
<lb ed="#L" n="117"/>circunstantias esse secundum quas multo grauiora peccata
<lb ed="#L" n="118"/>eiusdem speciei (scilicet superbiae vel inobedientiae) sequu
<lb ed="#L" n="119"/>ta sunt.

<lb ed="#L" n="120"/>AD PRIMVM arg. dicendum quod illud peccatum es
<lb ed="#L" n="121"/>grauius secundum se, quod per se & directe majus bonum, ve
<lb ed="#L" n="122"/>plura bona adimit, non autem si hoc fiat per accidens, quia al
<lb ed="#L" n="123"/>eo quod est per accidens non debet sumi iudicium. Nunc est ita
<lb ed="#L" n="124"/>quod per peccatum primorum parentum non est majus bonum
<lb ed="#L" n="125"/>ademptum per se, sed per accidens solum: per se autem non adi
<lb ed="#L" n="126"/>mit peccatum nisi suum oppositum, & ea quae ex necessitate sup.
<lb ed="#L" n="127"/>ponuntm ipsum, sicut infidelitas adimit fidem primo & per se, om
<lb ed="#L" n="128"/>nia vero quae supponunt fidem, adimit quidem per se, sed nor
<lb ed="#L" n="129"/>primo. Similiter peccatum primorum parentum siue fuerit
pec<lb ed="#L" n="130" break="no"/>catum superbiae, siue gulae, non adimit per se nisi suum
opposi<lb ed="#L" n="131" break="no"/>tum, scilicet humilitatem vel temperantiam, vel ea quae ista ei
<lb ed="#L" n="132"/>necessitate supponunt. quod autem adempta est a tota natura
<lb ed="#L" n="133"/>iustitia originalis, hoc ademit deus a nobis ex demerito
pecca<lb ed="#L" n="134" break="no"/>ti, & est poena inflicta pro peccato, non autem peccatum ipsum
<lb ed="#L" n="135"/>ademit hoc formaliter, de qua ademptione loquitur Augustinus
