rati<lb ed="#L" n="34" break="no"/>superior & inferior sint vna potentia, an duae. Et

qui<lb ed="#L" n="51" break="no"/>bus discurrit ratio speculatiua vel practica, vel sunt accepta
na<lb ed="#L" n="52" break="no"/>turaliter sicut in speculabilibus de quolibet esse vel non esse, &
<lb ed="#L" n="53"/>omne totum est majus sua parte, & in practicis quia nihil
inho<lb ed="#L" n="54" break="no"/>nestum est faciendum, vel sunt accepta ex reuelatione, puta quod
<lb ed="#L" n="55"/>deus est trinus in personis, & vnus in essentia, & sic de aliis
arti<lb ed="#L" n="56" break="no"/>culis quo ad speculabilia, & similiter quo ad operabilia,
puta<lb ed="#L" n="57" break="no"/>nihil est committendum quo vita aeterna amittatur. Et quia al
<lb ed="#L" n="58"/>tiora & digniora sunt quae per reuelationem habentur, quam
<lb ed="#L" n="59"/>quae naturaliter cognoscuntur, ideo ratio deducens aliquid es
<lb ed="#L" n="60"/>principiis per reuelationem habitis, vocatur superior: deducens
<lb ed="#L" n="61"/>vero practice vel speculatiue aliquid ex principiis naturalite
<lb ed="#L" n="62"/>cognitis, vocatur ratio inferior. Et sic ratio tam inferior quan
<lb ed="#L" n="63"/>superior includit tam speculatiuum quam practicum. Vnde

conspicien<lb ed="#L" n="65" break="no"/>dis quo ad speculationem, vel consulendis quo ad operationem
<lb ed="#L" n="66"/>inferior vero quae intendit temporalibus rebus, communius
ta<lb ed="#L" n="67" break="no"/>men vtimur eis prout pertinent ad praxim siue ad operationem:
<lb ed="#L" n="68"/>quia haec distinctio principaliter introducta est ad inquirendum
<lb ed="#L" n="69"/>qualiter peccatum & processus peccati consummetur in nobis
<lb ed="#L" n="70"/>Ex hoc patet quod ratio superior & inferior non sunt diuers.
<lb ed="#L" n="71"/>potentiae animae, quia illa potentia cuius obiectum formale es
<lb ed="#L" n="72"/>ens secundum rationem entis, non plurificatur secundum plu
<lb ed="#L" n="73"/>rificationem specialium entium, sicut potentia visiua cuius ob
<lb ed="#L" n="74"/>jectum formale est color, non plurificatur secundum
plurifica<lb ed="#L" n="75" break="no"/>tionem specialium colorum. Sed intellectus habet pro formali
<lb ed="#L" n="76"/>obiecto & adaequato ens secundum communem rationem en
<lb ed="#L" n="77"/>tis, vt patet ex tertio de anima, & per Auic. qui dicit quod qu
<lb ed="#L" n="78"/>non intelligit ens, nihil intelligit: ergo potentia intellectiua nor
<lb ed="#L" n="79"/>distinguitur in diuersas potentias per hoc quod intendit aeter¬

disponen<lb ed="#L" n="81" break="no"/>dis. Nulla autem potentia praeter intellectum potest praedictis
<lb ed="#L" n="82"/>intendere, ergo, &c. Et confirmatur, quia deducere conclusioni
<lb ed="#L" n="83"/>aliquam ex principiis necessariis, vel ex principiis
contingenti<lb ed="#L" n="84" break="no"/>bus, non variat potentiam, sed habitus: quia vnum pertinet ad
<lb ed="#L" n="85"/>scientiam, aliud vero ad opinionem: ergo similiter procedere ex
<lb ed="#L" n="86"/>principiis naturaliter cognitis, vel per reuelationem habitis, non
<lb ed="#L" n="87"/>variat potentiam, quamuis posset variare habitum: quia vnum
<lb ed="#L" n="88"/>pertinet ad sapientiam, reliquum vero ad scientiam, prout de
