<lb ed="#L" n="65"/>Vtrum Spiritus sanctus sit proprium
<lb ed="#L" n="66"/>nomen alicuius personae diuinae.

<lb ed="#L" n="67"/>CIRCA distinctionem istam consueuit quaeri vtri
<lb ed="#L" n="68"/>in diuinis aliqua persona procedat per modum
<lb ed="#L" n="69"/>voluntatis, & vtrum persona sic procedens
de<lb ed="#L" n="70" break="no"/>beat dici amor. Sed quia de prima quaestione
sa<lb ed="#L" n="71" break="no"/>tis dictum fuit supra distinctio 6. Secunda autem
<lb ed="#L" n="72"/>quaestio totaliter dependet ex prima, quia sicut competit
<lb ed="#L" n="73"/>personae diuinae procedere per modum voluntatis, sic
compe<lb ed="#L" n="74" break="no"/>tit ei quod sortiatur nomen amoris, ideo de his nihil plus
di<lb ed="#L" n="75" break="no"/>cem ad praesens. Sed restat quaerendum de duobus aliis, scili
<lb ed="#L" n="76"/>cet vtrum Spiritus sanctus sit proprium nomen alicuius
perso<lb ed="#L" n="77" break="no"/>nae diuinae, & vtrum in diuinis sint tantum tres personae. Ad
<lb ed="#L" n="78"/>primum sic proceditur. Et videtur quod non, quia omne quod
<lb ed="#L" n="79"/>est & non est corpus est Spiritus, sed pater & quaelibet persona
<lb ed="#L" n="80"/>diuina est, & non est corpus, ergo est Spiritus. Et constat quod

<lb ed="#L" n="93"/>dicitur a spiritualitate, & sic conuenit omnibus personis. Alic

<lb ed="#L" n="95"/>in diuinis. Haec autem probatur vnica ratione sic: Cuius porso
<lb ed="#L" n="96"/>nae proprium spirari illius proprium est esse Spiritum, prou
<lb ed="#L" n="97"/>Spiritus dicitur a spiratione, sed tertiae personae in diuinis
pro<lb ed="#L" n="98" break="no"/>prium est spirari: Sicut enim emanatio filij a patre dicitur gene
<lb ed="#L" n="99"/>ratio, sic processio Spiritus sancti ab vtroque dicitur spiratio, ei
<lb ed="#L" n="100"/>go tertiae personae in diuinis proprium est esse Spiritum proui
<lb ed="#L" n="101"/>Spi. dicitur a spiratione quasi Spiritus, prout autem Spiritus di
<lb ed="#L" n="102"/>citur a spiritualitate, Spiritus non est proprium nomen
terti<lb ed="#L" n="103" break="no"/>personae, sed appropriatum tantum, id est de communi tractum
<lb ed="#L" n="104"/>ad proprium propter aliquam specialem conuenientiam: Sic
<lb ed="#L" n="105"/>enim Spiritus sonat in subtilitatem, vnde subtilia in
corporali<lb ed="#L" n="106" break="no"/>bus Spiritus vocamus, sicut ventum & aerem & corpus
subti<lb ed="#L" n="107" break="no"/>le quod est instrumentum virium anim ae: magis etiam
propri<lb ed="#L" n="108" break="no"/>Spiritus dicuntur omnia incorporalia sicut dicimus Angelo
<lb ed="#L" n="109"/>Spiritus, Deum etiam Spiritum vocamus: Iuxta illud Ioan. 4
<lb ed="#L" n="110"/>Deus Spiritus est: sed ex vsu scripturae inuenitur appropriatum
<lb ed="#L" n="111"/>tertiae personae propter aliquas congruitates, vna est, quia
ter<lb ed="#L" n="112" break="no"/>tia persona procedit communiter a prima & secunda, & idec
<lb ed="#L" n="113"/>quod est commune vtrique attribuitur tertiae personae
commu<lb ed="#L" n="114" break="no"/>niter procedenti ab vtraque. Cum ergo pater sit Spiritus &
Fi<lb ed="#L" n="115" break="no"/>lius Spiritus & vterque sanctus: Tertia persona a patro & filic
<lb ed="#L" n="116"/>communiter procedens vocatur appropriate Spiritus sanctus
<lb ed="#L" n="117"/>Et hanc rationem tangit beatus August. 15. de trini. Alia ratic
<lb ed="#L" n="118"/>est, quia in rebus corporeis spiritus sonat in quandam
impul<lb ed="#L" n="119" break="no"/>sionem vel motionem: illud autem quo maxime mouemur est
<lb ed="#L" n="120"/>voluntas cuius potissima affectio maxime motiua est amor,
<lb ed="#L" n="121"/>propter quod persona procedens per modum voluntatis (vt
<lb ed="#L" n="122"/>amor) appropriate dicitur Spiritus sanctus. Sanctus additur,
<lb ed="#L" n="123"/>quia vt dicit Eustratius super primum Ethicorum, Iustum
consi<lb ed="#L" n="124" break="no"/>stit in aequalitate ad alterum: sanctum autem in ordine ad Deum
<lb ed="#L" n="125"/>Et quia dona, quibus ordinamur ad Deum attribuuntur per
<lb ed="#L" n="126"/>appropriationem tertiae personae in diuinis: ideo & sanctum ei
<lb ed="#L" n="127"/>appropriatur.

<lb ed="#L" n="131"/>in immaterialitatem conuenit toti trinitati, nec est proprium
<lb ed="#L" n="132"/>alicuius personae, appropriatur tamen propter rationes
com<lb ed="#L" n="133" break="no"/>munes dictas: Spiritus autem dictus a spiratione proprie
con<lb ed="#L" n="134" break="no"/>uenit tertiae personae: Et per idem patet solutio ad argumentum
