<lb ed="#L" n="155"/>Spiritus san. plenius vel perfectius procedat a
<lb ed="#L" n="156"/>patre quam a filio, quia propter quod
vnum<lb ed="#L" n="157" break="no"/>quodque tale & illud magis, sed filius habet a
<lb ed="#L" n="158"/>patre quod ab ipso procedat Spiritus sanctus,

<lb ed="#L" n="1"/>RESPONSIO. Dicenda sunt duo. Primum est quod
<lb ed="#L" n="2"/>Spiritus sanctus non procedit plenius vel perfectius a patre
<lb ed="#L" n="3"/>quam a filio. Secundum est quod procedit ex ipso principalius
<lb ed="#L" n="4"/>Primum patet sic, vbi non est intensio & remissio in principic
<lb ed="#L" n="5"/>virtute cuius plura producunt vnum, ibi productum non ess
<lb ed="#L" n="6"/>perfectius aut plenius ab vno quam ab altero, sed principium
<lb ed="#L" n="7"/>producendi Spiritum sanctum quod est vis spiratiua, non est
<lb ed="#L" n="8"/>perfectius aut plenius in patre quam in filio, cum sit in eis vna
<lb ed="#L" n="9"/>numero non recipiens intensionem & remissionem, nec rationi
<lb ed="#L" n="10"/>essentiae: nec propter naturam respectus si respectum
inclu<lb ed="#L" n="11" break="no"/>dat, ergo Spiritus sanctus non procedit magis vel plenius a

<lb ed="#L" n="14"/>alio, sed pater spirat a se, filius autem ab alio, quia vir tutem
<lb ed="#L" n="15"/>spirandi habet ab alio, scilicet a patre, ergo pater spirat
prin<lb ed="#L" n="16" break="no"/>cipalius quam filius. vnde Augustinus I1. de Trinitate cap. 18
<lb ed="#L" n="17"/>dicit sic. Non frustra inquit in hac Trinit. non dicitur verbun
<lb ed="#L" n="18"/>nisi filius, nec donum nisi Spiritus san. nec de quo est genitun
<lb ed="#L" n="19"/>verbum & de quo principaliter procedit spiritus nisi Deus pa
<lb ed="#L" n="20"/>ter, nec sequitur ex hoc quod filius habeat aliquod minus
pa<lb ed="#L" n="21" break="no"/>tre: quia spirare vel non spirare principaliter non attenditur
<lb ed="#L" n="22"/>secundum aliquid absolutum & essentiale, sed solum secundum
<lb ed="#L" n="23"/>modum habendi vim spiratiuam qui modus est secundum

<lb ed="#L" n="25"/>AD ARGVMENTVM in oppositum dicendum
<lb ed="#L" n="26"/>quod propter quod vnumquodque &c. Non tenet in agentibus
<lb ed="#L" n="27"/>participantibus eandem formam numero aeque perfecte, sed
so<lb ed="#L" n="28" break="no"/>lum in agentibus aequiuocis: vel vniuocis habentibus eandem
<lb ed="#L" n="29"/>formam specie secundum diuersos gradus quorum vnus est
per<lb ed="#L" n="30" break="no"/>fectior altero, vt est de calore in igne & in caeteris. In diuinis
<lb ed="#L" n="31"/>autem pater & filius habent eandem vim numero spiratiuam
<lb ed="#L" n="32"/>a patre, & est eiusdem gradus perfectionis, licet filius habea
<lb ed="#L" n="33"/>eam a patre. Et ideo principalius habet eam pater quam filius. Sed
<lb ed="#L" n="34"/>non habet perfectius, propter quod potest dici quod pater
prin<lb ed="#L" n="35" break="no"/>cipalius spirat quam filius quia a se spirat, sed non perfectius.
