<lb ed="#L" n="28"/>in generali & speciali.

<lb ed="#L" n="29"/>NVNC igitur quaeramus. Superius magister
de<lb ed="#L" n="30" break="no"/>terminauit de merito Christi secundum quod ordi
<lb ed="#L" n="31"/>natur ad consecutionem boni sibi & nobis. Hi
<lb ed="#L" n="32"/>determinat de ipso secundum quod ordinatur ad
re<lb ed="#L" n="33" break="no"/>motionem mali in nobis, ipse enim in se nec
sub<lb ed="#L" n="34" break="no"/>ditus fuit culpae, nec debitor poenae. Et diuiditur in duas.
Pri<lb ed="#L" n="35" break="no"/>mo ostendit a quo sumus liberati per passionem Christi.
Se<lb ed="#L" n="36" break="no"/>cundo determinat de causa passionis dist. 20. ibi, Si vero
quae<lb ed="#L" n="37" break="no"/>ritur. Prima est principalis lectio. Et diuiditur in duas. Primo
<lb ed="#L" n="38"/>ostendit a quibus malis Christus nos liberauit. Secundo de
hi<lb ed="#L" n="39" break="no"/>quae dicuntur de Christo ratione huius liberationis ibi, vnde
<lb ed="#L" n="40"/>dicitur. Prima in tres. Primo ostendit quomodo per praedictam
<lb ed="#L" n="41"/>passionem liberati sumus a malo culpae & a potestate instigar
<lb ed="#L" n="42"/>tis ad culpam scilicet daemonis. Secundo ostendit quod hoc
<lb ed="#L" n="43"/>non poterat esse nisi per Deum & hominem ibi, factus est
ho<lb ed="#L" n="44" break="no"/>mo. Tertio determinat de liberatione a poena ibi, A qua
poen<lb ed="#L" n="45" break="no"/>temporali. Secunda pars principalis, vnde & ipse, diuiditur in
<lb ed="#L" n="46"/>tres. Primo ostendit per hanc deliberationem quod Christu:
<lb ed="#L" n="47"/>debet dici redemptor. Secundo quod debet dici mediator ibi,
<lb ed="#L" n="48"/>qui solus dicitur. Tertio ostendit secundum quam naturam

iu<lb ed="#L" n="54" break="no"/>stificati quod tripliciter apparet. Primo quia per mortem
Chri<lb ed="#L" n="55" break="no"/>sti charitas in cordibus nostris excitatur, per quam iustificamur,
<lb ed="#L" n="56"/>& a peccatis liberamur, & per consequens a diabolo qui per
<lb ed="#L" n="57"/>peccatum vinctos nos tenebat. Secundo per fidem mortis eius
<lb ed="#L" n="58"/>a peccatis mundamur & iustificamur, sicut enim aspicientes ser
<lb ed="#L" n="59"/>pentem aeneum in ligno sanabantur, sic cum per fidem in Chri
<lb ed="#L" n="60"/>stum aspicimus qui pro nobis in ligno pependit a peccato
sol<lb ed="#L" n="61" break="no"/>uimur, & a diabolo liberamur. Tertio quia Christus sua morte
<lb ed="#L" n="62"/>offerens verum sacrificium culpam destruxit per quam nos
dia<lb ed="#L" n="63" break="no"/>bolus ligatos tenebat, & eius potestatem in tantum debilitauit
<lb ed="#L" n="64"/>quod licet tentari possimus, non tamen sine sponte nostra
su<lb ed="#L" n="65" break="no"/>perari. Quod patet in Petro qui ante mortem Christi
Chri<lb ed="#L" n="66" break="no"/>stum ad vocem ancillae negauit. Postea vero ante reges & prae
<lb ed="#L" n="67"/>fides ductus non timuit. Quod per plures auctoritates &
pa<lb ed="#L" n="68" break="no"/>rabolas euangelij de forti armato ostendit. Postea dicit
quali<lb ed="#L" n="69" break="no"/>ter nos a diabolo liberauit dicens quod Deus factus est homo
<lb ed="#L" n="70"/>per mortem eius diabolum vinceret qui ante hominem
su<lb ed="#L" n="71" break="no"/>perauerat. Et sic non violenter, sed iuste eum vicit, dignum
<lb ed="#L" n="72"/>erat, vt qui naturam humanam assumpserat per eam per quam
<lb ed="#L" n="73"/>primo diabolus deuicerat vinceretur. Postea dicit quod
Chri<lb ed="#L" n="74" break="no"/>stus nos a poena aeterna & temporali liberauit siue redemit, al
<lb ed="#L" n="75"/>aeterna quidem relaxando debitum, & a temporali nos etiam l
<lb ed="#L" n="76"/>berauit infundendo gratiam. Addit etiam quod poenam pecca
<lb ed="#L" n="77"/>torum nostrorum portauit in corpore suo, quia omnis culpi
<lb ed="#L" n="78"/>quae debetur homini pro peccatis deletur in baptismo
totali<lb ed="#L" n="79" break="no"/>ter, & in sacramento poenitentiae diminuitur, vnde concludit

de<lb ed="#L" n="84" break="no"/>leat peccata, quare solus filius dicitur mediator. Et respondet

su<lb ed="#L" n="86" break="no"/>scepit quorum fide & imitatione reconciliamur & secundum
<lb ed="#L" n="87"/>quam naturam habuit aliquid commune Deo, scilicet iustitiam
<lb ed="#L" n="88"/>& aliquid commune hominibus, scilicet mortalitatem qua
<lb ed="#L" n="89"/>mediatori congruunt. Ex quo confunditur error dicentium in
